This is a wild feeling, like a syncronicity for a time I never had, but could have. Now, everything is feeling right. Another piece in the puzzle.

The Succeeded Lands

Upon the Back of Cipactli

I emerged again in a new world, but when I emerged from my inkwell, I was alone, drifting in the void of space. Still, a part of me knew that I wasn't far from where I needed to be, where the ink was calling to me to see, so I took flight towards the source of the call, and saw before me a vast ocean, stretching off into Everywhere. I'd say eternity, I'd say infinity, but the sea I saw was More than that. What I saw had properties I never expected to see with my own eyes, a superfluidic ocean, where the fluid behaves as if it were both Fluid and Gas. I was surely in the firmament, and I saw the superfluid layer below me swirling thickly like a liquid, yet no more solid than the aether I was flying through.

It was then that I saw my home system, the Sol system, but it was... I cannot describe the sensation I felt, it was clearly different, yet every part of me rang it true as Home. Yet none of the planets were planets. It was despicably Geocentric, and the Earth itself was on the back of a great lizardian creature, who told me its name was Cipactli. It then tried to eat me, as I would eventually find a common trait between large draconian entities I would encounter, and when it realised I was indigestible, it spat me back out onto the Earth's Surface. But even that was, unusual, because there were no humans around, Anywhere. There were no humans on earth, but there were countless humanoid species, seemingly made of the various wildlife and fauna that would have survived on the surface of the Earth of my world. I garuntee that if I looked hard enough, I could find an anthropomorphized version of Any species.

And then I looked up, really looked. Five suns looked back at me, as well as a moon that held a feeling I refused to acknowledge or investigate.

And the Five Suns told me their story, told me the story of the beasts who followed, they told me of successors and destruction occuring, yet hope for a future remaining in the ashes. They told me the beasts I saw were the sixth successors, and I knew they were true.
